Our Story

I first came here in 2021 with an invitation from the owner. Since then, I have stayed here several times and have never left unfulfilled. I still remember arriving the first time and seeing the panoramic view of the ocean, which seemed to stretch outward to infinity.

Even though it is located on the western shore of Koh Samui, our drive from the airport did not take long. Conveniently located off the main road circulating the Island, once we arrived the ocean was between.

Villa De Reve Samui is a place where you can commune with the ocean’s very nature. One can hear the musical sounds of the sea lapping up against the shore. Take long walks through tidal pools and exposed rocks on the firm, wet sand at low tide. Watch the incoming surf slowly moving up the long, gently sloping beach. Beyond the breakers, sea-faring vessels will be seen plying their trade.  During the night, you will be met with darkness and an ocean breeze as the waves lull you to thoughts unknown, dreams unlived, and then peaceful sleep.  

Layout

The six bedrooms and 6.5 baths comfortably accommodate up to 12 people, and they surround an integrated courtyard with a swimming pool that acts as a communal living area. 

The raised courtyard sits between the house and the ocean. A vertical rock wall ensures stability and borders a short stretch of sand before entering the movement of the sea. High walls on either side ensure privacy while offering an unobstructed and panoramic ocean view. An indoor living room, dining room, and kitchen area are also there for you to sit in the superb comfort of air conditioning.

A separate indoor/outdoor cabana sits to one side for outdoor dining, barbecuing, and festive and social evenings. All rooms have been furnished using local Thai companies or craftsmen. They reflect the natural beauty of Thailand, Koh Samui, and its culturally made products. They were all chosen to accentuate the beauty of the culture of Koh Samui while providing long-term sustainability. 

Ambiance

When you are ready to leave the beautiful private haven, rest assured there is plenty for you to do in Koh Samui and the surrounding areas. Indoor parking exists for those who want to rent a car. You can also call for a dedicated limo service or a regular taxi to take you anywhere you want to go. Laundry service and maid service is available daily at no extra charge.
